Cookie Policy

1. Summary of the current website

Ivoral Qessanique is presently an informational café and patisserie site. Its frontend consists of local HTML, CSS, JavaScript, photographs and a small local file used to populate the business identity and address consistently across pages.

The published frontend does not currently install behavioural analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social-media pixels, session login identifiers or newsletter tracking mechanisms. That is why there is no optional-cookie consent banner in the current design.

2. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website or service may ask a browser to store and send back with later requests. Cookies can support login sessions, preferences, security controls, analytics and advertising. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and tracking pixels.

Whether a cookie is essential depends on its actual purpose and use, not on the label assigned to it. Optional technologies must be assessed under applicable privacy and electronic-communications rules before deployment.

3. Current use of cookies

The application code in these pages does not write browser cookies. There is no site login, checkout cart, online reservation or advertising integration for which such cookies would be needed. The menu and informational pages are available without consenting to optional trackers.

A host, reverse proxy or security service chosen during deployment may use its own operational cookies in particular configurations. Such infrastructure is not part of the website code supplied here, and any cookies it sets must be reviewed and disclosed accurately before the site goes live.

4. Local and session storage

The current application does not save persistent visitor identifiers in localStorage or sessionStorage. Mobile navigation state exists only while the menu is open and is managed in the active page; it is not written to browser storage.

The shared business identity and address are loaded from a resource hosted with the same site. No personal details are sent to that resource, and requesting it does not create an application-level tracking profile.

5. Analytics and advertising services

No analytics library, marketing pixel, advertising script, social-network tracking button or remotely hosted font is included in this version of the frontend. We therefore do not describe a consent-based analytics system or profiling that is not actually present.

If analytics, embedded maps, videos, booking tools or advertising features are introduced later, this policy must be amended and the operator must evaluate whether prior opt-in consent and suitable withdrawal controls are required.

6. Necessary hosting operations

When you load a page, the host necessarily handles network requests. Technical access logs and security monitoring are distinct from application-set advertising cookies. Depending on configuration, protective systems may need short-lived identifiers to prevent abuse.

The operator should check the chosen hosting provider’s cookie and log settings and record what is actually deployed. No blanket assurance can be given about unknown infrastructure beyond the static frontend evaluated for this policy.

7. Browser settings and control

Most browsers let you inspect site data, block or delete cookies and clear website storage. You may typically find those controls under Privacy, Cookies or Site Data in the browser settings. Your choices can affect other websites even when this site does not require optional cookies.

Browser private mode may erase session data when the window is closed. Do Not Track signals vary between browsers and services; this site does not operate an advertising-tracking system that would respond to them.

8. Consent and withdrawals

The current website has no non-essential application cookies that require a consent interface. There is therefore no cookie preference stored and no consent record to withdraw through these pages.

If a future release introduces optional technologies, those features should remain off until any legally required consent is obtained, and visitors must be provided with a practical way to change that preference.

9. Australian and European requirements

Australian privacy law may govern handling of personal information collected through online technologies. In the EEA and UK, storing or accessing information on a user’s device may also be subject to specific ePrivacy or PECR rules, alongside the GDPR where personal data is processed.

The distinction between essential and optional technologies must be evaluated for the actual deployment. This policy is designed to be transparent about the features presently implemented; it does not waive visitor rights under applicable law.

10. Data handling and retention

The website application does not maintain a cookie-based visitor history or marketing audience, so it does not have an application-level cookie retention period. The retention of any host-level logs depends on the server or infrastructure provider’s verified settings.

See our Privacy Policy for more detail about technical request information, access and correction rights, retention criteria and data-security considerations.

11. Updates to this notice

This policy should be reviewed whenever the frontend is changed, new features are activated or a new hosting service adds cookies or similar technologies. Material changes should be reflected in the date and content published here.
